CBM
In the past the newsletter had a ‘letter’ format and was copy heavy and difficult to read, it did not engage the recipient or successfully showcase the information.

CBM works in the world’s poorest places to prevent blindness, improve health and transform the lives of people with disabilities.
Working with disabled people to break down barriers by delivering practical support, improving policy and practice and inspiring the people of the UK to act.
Our initial brief was to redesign their quarterly newsletters. These newsletters feature current appeals and illustrate how donations are utilised to improve lives and futures. They also include a donation slip for one-time or monthly contributions.
Previously, the newsletters had a ‘letter’ format that was text-heavy and hard to read, failing to engage recipients or effectively present information. The new design employs bolder angles and colours, with prominent images for greater impact. Key sections of text are highlighted, and lengthy articles are split across pages in a magazine-style format.
This new design has been highly successful, leading us to revamp additional CBM materials, including their annual report, quarterly prayer diary, and high-donor appeal letters.
D&A Creative have consistently created high quality newsletters for us. They are very responsive and flexible, always delivering on time and dealing with last minute changes we request. D&A have a strong understanding of our brand requirements and donor demographic, creating pieces that are effective and interesting. You are a pleasure to work with – thank you.
